James Halliwell-Phillipps cut and pasted his Shakespeare selections into scrapbooks, and in our latest collaboration with Mark Haddon, you can now do it yourself online.
Taken together, the National Library of Scotland and the Library of the University of Edinburgh hold world-class collections of playbooks and material relating to early modern drama. These extensive collections have now been digitised and are available on the Shakespeare Collected website.
Online you can now cut and paste your selections from books and images, upload your own images and add your own notes and comments making your scrapbook totally unique. After building your scrapbook you can save it online and publish it for other people to see.
After the website going live we developed an app which is compatible with apple devices and android’s which offers the same facilities including the audiovisual and interactive features.
